Job Description

ElectricianAn exciting position has become available for a full-time, experienced Electrician based in Blackburn, Aberdeen. The successful candidate will earn a competitive salary based on experience.You will work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday plus overtime as and when required, overtime rates will apply.Role Requirements

  • Good experience of all aspects of domestic and commercial electrical works.
  • Valid 17th/18th Edition qualification.
  • ECS SJIB Grading card.
  • Full understanding of electrical testing.
  • Health & Safety awareness.
  • Comfortable working in domestic and commercial environments.
  • Full UK manual driving licence.
  • Good time keeping and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work on their own and as part of a team, ensuring deadlines met.
  • Positive attitude.
Role Responsibilities
  • Surveying sites where electrical systems are installed.
  • Drafting electrical installation plans and technical diagrams.
  • Installing, maintaining, modifying and repairing all electrical systems in public spaces and buildings.
  • Ensuring that electrical systems adhere to the national electrical safety standards and regulations.
  • Supervising ongoing electrical system installations and providing technical expertise to installation teams where needed.
  • Using blueprints, wiring diagrams and manufacturers installation manuals to complete projects.
  • Completing work orders and recording materials that are used on the job.
  • Identifying electrical problems and repairing them.
  • Advising the companys management when to replace aged electrical equipment to prevent hazards.
  • Conducting general electrical systems maintenance and troubleshooting electrical issues with testing equipment.
