Job Description

Electrical Project Engineer (Hydraulics / Oil + Gas / Lifting)£40,000 - £50,000 + Chartership Support + Excellent Pension + Bonus + Flexi Time + Pay and Role Progression + Company Benefits + Flexi AberdeenAre you a Project Engineer with experience in Electrical principles looking for a varied and hands-on role within an Oil and Gas Engineering Consultancy which supply tailored lifting solutions, equipment and personnel packages for the global energy sectorsAre you looking to become immersed as an integral part of either the New Build Project Team or AME team, where you will be responsible for delivering assigned projects or a defined scope of work from the Project Lead in the delivery of a high value projectsacross a range of applications in the Maritime industryOn offer is the opportunity to work on projects for a plethora of different applications, supporting and managing lifecycles, within a rapidly growing, established business that provide excellent progression opportunities alongside an attractive benefitspackage with the opportunity to gain chartership through company support.This role will involve a split of hands-on and desk-based work where you have flexible working hours. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding Hydraulic, Electrical or Electro controls.The Role:

  • Supporting and facilitating regular team meetings
  • Managing projects including scope of work, client interface and expectations, budget, timelines and contract and deliverables
  • Assisting supply chain in preparation of request for quotation, bids, procurement plans and technical evaluation
  • Provide technical support from award to project completion
  • Reviewing supplier documentation, site visits, monitoring progress and making technical changes / comments
  • Perform cost management and have control of allocated project packages and providing internal and client progress reports
The Person:
  • Good knowledge of engineering standards, procedures and work practices
  • Background in / Electrical / Hydraulics / Electro Controls
