Job Description

Electrical & Controls Engineer (Low Voltage)£60,000 - £70,000 + Training + Progression + BenefitsAberdeenAre you an Electrical Engineer looking to flex your design knowledge and be instrumental in the creation and production of bespoke products whilst working with a market leading company who will provide you with excellent training and the opportunity to advanceyour careerDo you have AutoCAD LT experience Do you want a role where you will receive additional training, and the chance to progress your career while working on technically interesting, bespoke projectsThe company are a market leading manufacturer and installation specialist, offering a complete 360° service to their clients, from design, construction, fit out, mechanical and electrical design and installation of electrical control systems. They require adesign engineer to help lead their process.The successful candidate will use the latest technology to help visualise the clients concept, producing wiring diagrams and technical drawings for power distribution and control productsThe Role:

  • Design LVD Power Distribution & Control Products
  • Create and approve electrical, control schematics and general arrangement drawings
  • Prove, build, and test design concepts, and analyse performance and test data
  • Perform electrical calculations, size conductor and busbar systems, and select components
  • Write technical reports and approve Bills of Materials
  • Troubleshoot systems and collaborate with other engineers and the production department
  • Ensure that all technical documentation and drawings meet relevant standards and are approved
The Person:
  • Proficient in AutoCAD LT and other design software
  • Experience in electrical design
