Job Description

The Digital Marketing & Media Managers role involves creating and managing the overall digital marketing and media plan by developing, implementing, tracking, and optimising digital marketing campaigns, to increase brand awareness and drive revenue improvement.This role requires a comprehensive knowledge of the marketing tools needed to initiate digital campaigns and run with them from concept to execution.Client DetailsMy retained client is the oldest existing business in the UK. Their investments will create new possibilities for the UKs energy industry, underpin the energy transition and bolster international trade in a post-Brexit landscape. Theyre exploring every opportunity to bring even more economic prosperity to our region, with the hugely anitcipated South Harbour expansion being the most recent and exciting example of this.DescriptionThis role requires a comprehensive knowledge of the marketing tools needed to initiate digital campaigns and run with them from concept to execution. Including the following:

  • Planning digital marketing and media campaigns, including web, SEO/SEM, email, social media, and display advertising
  • Maintaining and growing social media presence across all digital channels
  • Measuring and reporting on the performance of all digital marketing campaigns against set KPIs
  • Planning, implementing, and delivering PR, Media, and marketing activities in conjunction with outsourced agency and technical providers
  • Develop, scrutinise, and manage campaign budgets, media, PR, and marketing spend
  • Design and manage the digital marketing plan, including display advertising, email marketing, the company website and marketing database
  • Plan and control the companys social media channels and company website content and ongoing development
  • Grow website traffic and enable digital growth, leading to improved revenue generation
  • Work with and account manage media and marketing agency partners, to ensure contracted services and contract KPIs are successfully delivered.
  • Report on the performance of digital marketing activities and compare the results against key performance indicators and ROI
  • Review and develop brand messages regularly to ascertain consistency and relevancy
  • Analysis of end-to-end consumer experience in different digital channels. Identify the latest digital technologies and current digital trends affecting the industry and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Oversight and manage the PR, event, conference and crisis communications plans, in conjunction with agency partners
  • Produce digital marketing collateral, upload, and manage website and social media content, identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on those insights
  • Identify and build relationships with key external stakeholders
  • Develop positive and pro-active relationships with representatives of the media
  • Draft media releases and articles for publication through digital channels
  • Co-ordinate and host media visits, collate and analyse media coverage
  • Utilise a range of mediums, including, animation, film, graphics, and imagery
  • Brainstorm new and creative marketing plans
  • Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests
  • ProfileBachelors Degree in Marketing essential, other qualifications include:
  • At least two-five years working experience in digital marketing and media roles
  • Experience in executing successful social media campaigns
  • Exhibit practical experience in keyword research, SEO management, email, and marketing database
  • Knowledge and experience of marketing and web analytics tools such as Google Adwords, SEMRush and Google Analytics
  • User experience knowledge and optimisation of customer experience funnels and landing pages
  • Practical skills in multivariate experiments and email marketing
  • Working knowledge of JavaScript development, CSS, and HTML
  • Updated knowledge on new technologies and the latest trends in digital marketing
  • In-depth insights on all social media platforms
