Are you

• Experienced in establishing, and working with, Quality Management Systems such as ISO 9001, API Q1
• Experienced in establishing, and working with, Training Management Systems such as API TPCP
• Experienced in establishing, and working with, HQSE Management Systems, ideally OSHAS 18001
• Practical skills and knowledge of past and modern crane industry processes and practices
• Proficient in, or have good working knowledge of:

o CAD Package programs such as AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventoro FEA Analysis software such as ANSYS and FS2000o Microsoft office programso Accounting Softwareo SAP systemso Product information management systems / databasesDo you

• Have a solid understanding with current and relevant experience of the offshore crane industry
• Have an Industry standard apprenticeship completion as a minimum
• Have an engineering degree
• Have a minimum of 6 years experience in Upstream Industry, ideally in position affiliated with crane maintenance and mechanical handling
• Have practical skills and knowledge of past and modern crane industry processes and practices
• Have an ability to create a workplace environment and culture that allows all employees to develop and excel in their jobs
• Have exceptional customer facing and interpersonal skills to enable difficult situations to be overcome successfully
• Have an ability to negotiate effectively together with excellent numeracy and literacy skills

Designer Main Responsibilities:

• Production of working roughouts, conceptual design output and detailed design outputs such as fabrication drawings, general arrangements, repair schemes, lifting plan sketches.
• Preparation of MTO packages
• Actively contribute to drawing office systems, peers and procedural development
• Self-checking of drawings and data and checking/review of colleague design outputs
• Preparation of basic to intermediate engineering design calculations including basic FEA with a view to further develop engineering competence
• Carrying design scopes through to completion within set budgets and maintain budget monitoring over design scope duration
• Carrying design scopes through to completion within set project planned delivery dates
• Contribution to design scope quotations within the companies SMS systems by including estimates of draughting budgets
• Handling of design scope quotations through all stages from initial quoting stage through to invoicing.
• Carrying out site and offshore dimensional surveys and preparing detailed survey reports in various locations (Global function if required)

• Anticipate and prepare for future obstacles that may be less obvious to others
• Scan the marketplace to identify future changes that may impact on own area and act creatively to benefit from them

HSQE Responsibilities:

• Ensure team members follow current business policies and procedures:

o Design Services, Service, Business Development, HSQE, HR, IT and Finance.

• Identify and report noncompliance with policies and procedures and assist in resolving the issues in a timely manner.
