Talent84 are recruiting for a hospital and we are looking for a DBS cleared ward host and catering assistant to work every Monday and Thursday for the next few weeks.f you are you looking for an opportunity to make a difference and work in a fast paced, highly rewarding department, our client is recruiting for a Ward Host to provide a vital part of the delivery and service of meals to the wards.The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and willing to work hard as part of team, as well as confident to carry out individual duties. You will be interacting with a high number of patients each day, playing a vital part in making their stay as comfortable as possible and raising spirits with a friendly and compassionate service.On a typical day as a Ward Host you can expect to take part in the preparation and service of meals, , carry out cleaning responsibilities and communicate with numerous patients, members of the public and other staff of all levels. TDue to the nature of the role, you will be required to adhere to departmental standards and food hygiene regulations. You will also act at all times in a manner that upholds the Trust’s values, working as part of a team to ensure efficiency and excellent customer care. Catering experience is desirable along with a certificate in food safety though this is not essential, as full training will be given. Required skills
