Execute technical support, act as specialist and solve problems in own expertise area. Proactively communicate with both the customer and our clients sales teams to ensure customer needs are understood and business opportunities utilized for Service growth.Gain an understanding of our clients Industrial Automation systemsWork closely with a team of software engineersUnderstand and update existing hardware and software modules for the development and maintenance of our clients Control System productsProduce documentation (Site Visit Reports, RAMs, PM Procedures)Conduct the assurance, integration and testing of hardware and software modulesDeliver updates to the existing products and roll out new products through working closely with different stakeholders, including the customer and the end userSupport Bids and Proposals team in generation of quotationsTime & budget management as per contract requirementsBe available on an on call basis to advise customers out of hours and, if necessary, make unscheduled site visitsAdvises clients as to maintenance procedures, site planning, operational methods, process measurement and control strategies and schemesPromotes sales of maintenance services and equipment, including spare parts, and advises Sales department of possible sales leadsRegular onshore/offshore site visits to conduct PM and CM activitiesCordant Group is an equal opportunities employer
