Our client has been providing a full range of Civil Engineering Construction, Industrial / Residential Building and Development Services to the North East of Scotland for over 40 years. A privately owned SME business with a familial feel and a reputation for delivery against client expectations the business benefits from a long serving, stable work force.The Contracts Manager will make up a key component of the management team, working alongside 2 X existing contracts managers the role will involve overseeing circa 3 concurrent projects that may vary from £20K - £3m in value and cover new build commercial, residential, minor civils/ surfacing and refurbishment works. The contracts manager will take on a multi faceted role requiring a wide range of skills and experience, the ideal candidate will be especially adept at managing multiple elements of project delivery and will show flexibility and pragmatism to prioritise and coordinate in a fast paced dynamic environment, duties will cover, but not be limited to: * Programming Works* All H&S Management * Ensuring RAMS are in place * Assisting the commercial team with PQQs* Client Management * Liaison with internal and external stakeholders* Arranging and chairing project meetings* Man Management of Site Managers * Creating timely management reports * Ensuring contract performance through planning, coordination and problem solvingThe Ideal CandidateYou will have spent time in the industry in a hands on supervisory, engineering or trades role and have developed into senior managerial roles, ideally within a similar SME principal / main contracting environment, you will demonstrate delivery of full build projects and have good knowledge and understanding of groundworks / civils packages as well as full suite of build packages. You will demonstrate covering multiple concurrent projects at various stages and be capable of managing people to deliver.
