  • Degree qualified, preferably in mechanical or Electrical engineering or equivalent
  • Capable of working without supervision

The role
  • Work under instruction of the Management Team to achieve company goals.
  • Act as focal point between clients and the company responsible for all technical and operational matters.
  • Utilise available resources appropriately to respond to all technical, operational, support services and/or products that can be provided by the company.
  • Be able to converse directly with clients on a day to day basis,
  • Work with the client maintenance management system to create long term schedules for upcoming maintenance activities.
  • Familiarisation with industry HSEQ policies and procedures.
  • Familiarisation with industries Safety policy and the Safety Management System.
  • To identify safe and environmentally sound methods of work and systems which identify hazards at each place of work.
  • Be familiar with relevant legislation, codes of practice, guidance notes and good industry practice.
  • Plan, organise and document client work processes to deliver the required standard with minimum risk to personnel, plant, materials, and the environment.
  • Ensure all scopes are closed out and required reports, documentation and/or certifications is obtained and uploaded to bolt the companies and client’s systems/databases as required.
  • Ensure all executed work/projects are financially managed throughout, demonstrating appropriate cost control and variation management from beginning to end, ensuring timely invoicing and financial close out.
  • Be flexible and able to work in different locations
  • Plan for and be available for visits to client facilities/assets as and when required.
  • Direct team to complete and record maintenance and repair activities in accordance with work schedules, client standards and approved maintenance strategies.
  • Mobilise personnel, materials and equipment associated with client maintenance activities.
  • Ensure enquiries are raised and quoted for any planned or corrective maintenance scope in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all documentation required for maintenance implementation, such as work packs, procedures, risk assessment, bill of materials etc…. are created and issued in a timely manner.
  • Give company personnel and subcontractors precise instruction in order to implement safe methods of work and pre-defined communication lines between client and company.
  • Compile and manage equipment records, certification, and condition monitoring information in accordance with client requirements.
  • Ensure any spares and equipment, stored is specified, purchased, stored and issued in accordance with client requirements.
  • Maintain awareness of technology developments to support the companies service provision to clients.
  • Actively promote a safety and environmental culture, which includes encouraging others observe and report the same.
  • Contribute to the establishment sales effort, through direct client contact and meetings, with particular focus on target customers as defined within the establishment business plan.
  • Build and manage annual budget look ahead, in conjunction with the Engineering and Operations Manager, and as required by clients.
  • Create monthly/quarterly performance review packs and present internally and/or externally as required.
