Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join Scotlands only purpose built neurological care centre as the Clinical Team Leader for the Night Shift. You will be managing a team of registered nurses and care assistants, offering high standards of holistic careto service usersLocation: AberdeenSalary: £38002 - £42620 with 30% enhancement for nights/weekendsHours: 36.25 week comprising of 3 shifts - 7pm - 7.15amThe qualitities for the Clinical Team Leader role:

  • Registered Nurse or degree level qualification, possible further study.
  • Experience in specialist palliative or neurological care depending on service requirement. Committed to service user involvement.
  • Demonstrable experience of practising in a self-directed and highly motivated way
  • An ability to provide teaching and mentorship in a clinical setting
  • Able to effectively manage change and manage performance
The role and responsibilities of the Clinical Team Leader role
  • You will have responsibility to ensure effective performance management of all clinical staff in line with policies and procedures for recruitment, induction, development, supervision, appraisal and discipline.
  • To lead the nursing team in developing the quality of nursing care, acting as a source of support and advice to colleagues and relatives
  • To ensure that clinical care is provided in line with multi professional, evidence based care plans, is timely and appropriate and that the clients policies and procedures are adhered to
  • Take responsibility for a service user group, consulting and liaising with the multi-disciplinary team, service users, family/carers over their care
