Pulse Nursing have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Clinical Team Leader also known as a Charge Nurse, to manage a team of registered nurses and care assistants in Aberdeen. You will ensure the effective assessment, planning, implementation andevaluation of high standards of holistic care for our service users.It is a specialist neurological centre providing care for people living with complex neurological conditions, including Huntingtons disease, multiple sclerosis and acquired brain injuries.The Neurological Care centre has 36 single bedrooms available for residential care and 6 supported living apartments for one person.About the RoleYou will be responsible to lead the nursing team in developing the quality of nursing care, acting as a source of support and advice to colleagues and relatives. Ensuring effective performance management of all clinical staff in line with the companies policiesand procedures for recruitment, induction, development, supervision, appraisal and discipline.Liaise and communicate with other health and social care professionals and outside agencies in the planning and delivery of service user care, including junior doctors on placement.You will be expected to prioritise health problems and intervene appropriately to assist the service user in complex, urgent or emergency situations, including initiation of effective emergency careAs well as assessing, planning, developing, implementing and evaluating individualised care using evidence based guidelines.A salary ranging from £20.16 - £22.61 per hour depending on experience (plus 30% enhancement for nights (8pm-6am) and weekend working)Shift PatternThis is a full time position, 36.25 hours per week (3 shifts per week).
