Location: AberdeenSalary: £9.32 - £13.73 per hour DOE plus excellent Benefits PackageWorking Pattern: Permanent - Full Time 37 hours per weekOur Role:As a Cable Layer, youll be a leading hand in enabling the smooth delivery of our low voltage and high voltage excavations and cable installation. You will work as part of a small team excavating and reinstating trenches and joint bays for new connection and supply restoration projects. You will also be expected to work as part of a larger team installing cables on some of our bigger projects when required. Your tasks will be undertaken on public highways, building sites and private residential land, and must be undertaken in a safe and responsible manner.Your Skills and Experience:You will have previous experience working on Civils related projects and should hold an NRSWA, plant operator and CSCS authorisations. A full and clean driving licence is required for this role and you should be able to tow a trailer. We are always interested in new ways of working and will look to you for innovative ideas to improve processes and move the business forwards.Youll be a great team worker and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills with a keen eye for detail. Having excellent organisational skills, with the ability to work accurately and independently is essential and holding a high regard for safety, of both yourself and your surroundings at all times is imperative.This is a physically demanding role and will involve working outdoors in all weather conditions.
