  • Manage the existing Scotoil NORM services contracts with UK Oil and Gas operators. Regular interaction with these customers is required to oversee and manage the delivery of the contract services.
  • Establish an effective customer management platform for key accounts to help build good, solid business relationships with key contacts
  • Attend project / customer service meetings
  • Prepare and deliver quarterly review project reports to customers
  • Develop value proposition for customers to improve the overall service offering
  • Produce financial and operation business proposals for scope change and contract renewals
Business DevelopmentNew waste business opportunities are continually sought for the Scotoil business. Interactions with non-contract and new prospective customers are essential.
  • Proactively pursue the UK Oil and Gas market for new hazardous waste opportunities
  • Develop and manage a new business strategy for all commercial activities
  • Establish and actively manage new customer target plan
  • Attend relevant UK Oil and Gas industry events
  • Generate and deliver customer presentations for the Scotoil/Tradebe business
  • Preparation and submission of tenders and financial / operational quotations for new customers
  • Develop an expert understanding with respect to competition and market rates
  • Working with the Tradebe marketing team produce business specific literature / communication content
  • All sales activity input onto the Tradebe CRM C4C information platform
FinancialManagement of financial elements of new and existing business alongside the Scotoil / Tradebe financial teams is an important part of the role.
  • Provide customer financial forecasting data for the budget setting process
  • Good understanding of the cost structure to accurately price both routine and non-routine work
  • Negotiate internal and external pricing to maximise margins
  • Accurately forecast revenue and project costs and submit to finance team at month end
Health & SafetyDemonstrate appropriate Health & Safety knowledge to ensure that the corporate PROUD message is visible and shared with customers during sales / project management activities.Essential Qualifications & Skills:
  • Minimum 5 years business development or key account sales experience within the UK Oil & Gas sector
  • Experience working with NORM (Naturally Occurring Radioactive Materials) is an advantage
  • Degree Qualification in a technical subject is preferred although not essential
  • Computer literate (Word, Excel, SAP)
  • Be able to work under specified and agreed time constraints
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • Strong customer service ethic
  • Strong in building relationships and able to communicate at all levels
Please note: Whilst this role is home based travelling to our Aberdeen Scotoil site will be requiredad hoc.
