An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Consultant Radiographer within Aberdeen Breast Services to include the North East Breast Screening Unit, Symptomatic Mammography and attached clinic, all within Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.The North East Breast Screening centre and Symptomatic Mammography is a friendly, dynamic department which covers both symptomatic and screening services, offering a varied and fast-paced workload with plenty of opportunity to gain experience. We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated professional who will uphold Trust values and deliver excellent care and respect for all.The successful applicant will hold an MSc in a Breast related subject, DCR(R) or BSc in Radiography, Postgraduate Certificate in Mammography, as well as hold all three qualifications in Image Interpretation, Breast Ultrasound and Stereotactic Breast biopsy and localisation.Consideration would be given to applicants who do not hold all qualifications required but would be seen to working towards this level and would be pay banded accordingly as a Trainee Consultant Radiographer (Band 8a).For more information and an informal chat please contact;Dr. Gerald Lip, Clinical Director on or Michelle Cumming, Superintendent Radiographer onInterviews for this post will be held on Tuesday 20th April 2021.
