Job Description

Job Title: AdministratorSalary: £19,000 - £23,000 per annumContract: PermanentHours of work: 35 hours per weekLocation: Portlethen, AberdeenHours of work are 35 per week. The normal working pattern will be Monday to Friday with a one-hour unpaid lunch break each day.About the organisationOur client is a privately owned service company working in the global energy sector with around 35 employees. They are headquartered in Portlethen, Aberdeenshire and provide speciality chemicals and consultancy services to the Global Energy Industry. ThePortlethen office houses the Operations, Research & Development and Commercial Operations divisions. The organisation has regional offices located in Dubai and the Netherlands.The business is in the conventional energy sector (Oil & Gas), but the business is expanding into the Renewable Energy Industries such as Geothermal and Offshore Wind. The business consists of a dynamic team who strive to provide high quality, responsiveservice and bespoke solutions to their clients challenges and projects.The roleThe organisation is seeking an Administrator to provide Company-wide administrative support to their departmental managers, with a focus on Human Resources and QHSE departments. The role is a fantastic opportunity if you are looking to kick-start your careerin the Energy Industry. If you are a dedicated individual with excellent administration and communication skills, the organisation wants to hear from you!What you will be doing

  • Answering incoming calls and directing to appropriate company contacts
  • Monitor and forward incoming email enquiries
  • Human resources: post vacancy adverts, with support prepare employment contracts and letters / communications to staff
  • Update employee HR records
  • Monitor and order office supplies
  • Liaise with suppliers to arrange for site visit dates and works, as per department manager needs
  • Arrange for travel
  • Update Company documentation
  • Signing in visitors
  • Administrative support to management as and when required
  • Be aware of and adhere to requirements of the companys policies, objectives and systems relating to Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental management
