The position has great variety with industry work spanning across energy, education, sport, tourism, energy and retail - notwo days are the same.The Role:If you are passionate for all things animation and brining innovative and creative ideas to life, then this is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team as a 3D Animator within an established UK wide video and media agency.The opportunity will allow the successful candidate to be able to get hands-on on 3D animations and motion graphic work across a huge variety of different projects. Some of the projects will include working with technical industries, so being able to translatecomplex processes into easy to comprehend animations is important.The ideal candidate will also be just as confident on working by themselves, as well as working within a wider team. This includes going through the entire project life cycle from client meetings to completion.An essential skillset is being experienced in Cinema 4D, with a focus on Redshift, as well as experience with the Adobe Creative Cloud, allowing amazing animations to be put together.You will be part of a highly creative team of 3D and motion graphic designers, many of whom have been with the company for the majority of their careers. Moreover, you will be supported further by the Animation Team Lead. On occasion, you shall also getto collaborate and work on projects with the in-house video production team.You must feel comfortable when attending client meetings and calls, as well as being able to formulate ideas for proposals for both new and existing projects.This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to progress their career and work on projects across an exciting mix of industry sectors with no two days being the same.The opportunity entails a competitive salary, but also perks including flexible working, incentives, vouchers and discounts and social activities across the UK.The role accommodates remote working from anywhere within the UK, however, if you are based near Aberdeen then they are happy to have yourself come and join the great office culture.Key Responsibilities:

• Creating 3D animations for clients
• Collaborating with designers, editors and producers to ensure client 3D and 2D objectives are met
• Formulate concept design and implementation on a number of 3D projects
• Conducting research and implementing new animation trends and techniques
• Supporting other colleagues of the animation team
• Ability to create storyboards for animation and to establish look & feel for projects essential
• Keep up with agreed timelines to ensure projects are produced on time, within budget and to the highest quality
• Strong modelling, texturing, lighting and animation skills
• Working alongside our commercial and business development team on creative animation ideas.

Skills:

• Great knowledge of Cinema 4D (Redshift) and Adobe Creative Suite, with a strong focus on After Effects
• Proven Track record of having designed and implemented 3D animation projects from start to finish
• An understanding of video editing.
• A keen interest in contemporary video and animation trends and styles
• An enthusiastic person who is committed to adding value and delivering excellent customer service
• Great interpersonal and communication skills in order to meet the needs of internal and external customers
