Reactive & Void Repairs Team LeaderAbercynon, South Wales (15 miles north of Cardiff)£34,946.54 per annum35 Hours per week (Monday to Friday - Flexitime available)Due to COVID, staff are currently home based.Our client lies in the heart of Rhondda Cynon Taf in glorious South Wales. They provide 1845 homes for living rents, and their hugelyrespected Cwm Taf Care & Repair subsidiary provides services to enable older or disabled people living in privately-owned homes to maintain their safety and independence.Above all though, they are a people-based organisation. Theyre passionate about providing great services and support, about being a good employer, and about being a respected partner in their region and across Wales.Theyre looking for a passionate and practical Reactive & Void Repairs Team Leader to ensure their tenants live in safe, comfortable and well-maintained homes.In this key role you will support the Asset & Compliance Manager and be responsible for the performance of the responsive and void repairs team - their operational activities - and the associated budget. You will be proactive in your approach to deliveringa responsive repairs service, as well as being solutions focussed in resolving day to day challenges. You will also have responsibility for ensuring excellent customer service, managing maintenance contracts, and line managing a multi skilled team.You must have previous technical experience, preferably having worked in a setting where you are working with members of the public and hold a professional building qualification or equivalent. Experience or knowledge of construction and technical informationas well as an understanding of Building Regulations is important.However, most importantly to them is that you are an experienced or aspiring leader, who leads by example, understands the importance of excellent customer service and experience, and puts tenants at the centre. You will be someone who is highly motivated,has an eye for detail and has a genuine passion for driving performance through a focus on behaviours and values within a community based organisation who aspires to be an excellent landlord.
